Posting after long time.

After a long time I’m making a post on this blog. At the end of Jan i was down with viral fever and couldn’t post and then I landed on a 1000$ project from my previous client and I’m still working on it. That project will be finished in 2-3 more days and I will be posting more from thereon till I get a another project.

I just realized who actually my client is. He has some great start ups and I’m sworn to secrecy, not to reveal anything. But I will try to scrape an interview with him. Let’s hope he will give that interview to me.

I will also be posting an update of my adsense case study and pepperjamnetwork earning details soon.

30 Day challenge half way results

There has been great improvement in my results of 30 day challenge.
After making a post daily for the past 14 days I have got good results.

Here are the stats from when the challenge started.

1. Increase in mybloglog readers
2. Majority of traffic is from search engines. Almost 40% to 45% is from search engines.
3. Bounce rate has greatly decreased.
4. Technorati rank is now under million mark.
5. Feed subscribers is around 20 now.
6. Increase in spam comments. [Thats true but thanks to askimet which is working full on for keeping away the spam comments.]

Overall the half way results has been satisfactory but not anything blasting. I could have promoted the blog more but was kind of busy with other engagements.

30 Day blog challenge is a great idea where bloggers strive and work hard to post daily on their blog for a period of 30 days.

A challenge is something we look to, we get motivation from and try to achieve it. So this blog challenge is a nice way to keep my blog updated with fresh content.
Whatever be the result, I’m game for it and at the end there will be a lot of positives to take from the challenge.

5. Possible ad revenue
6. Improvement in my writing

NEW YEAR GIFT FROM GOOGLE TO ME

Google has given me a best new year gift. It gave my boosted my blog’s page rank to PR2. Though it is not a big PR but I’m happy for getting as I haven’t done much promotion. I did some blog comments on REED’s blog and some other related blogs.

I also observed the few category pages and inner pages have got a PR1.

Basically I’m very happy about it and it has motivated me to take proper care of my blog by doing more seo and link building.

This will be my last blog post of 2008.

I will be ending this year by posting about my goals for 2009.

My Goals

Increasing the frequency of posting on this blog
Connecting with readers by posting less commercial type of content but still providing the same value.
Start monetizing the traffic to this blog.
Increase the rss readers at a rate of 100/month
Starting atleast 5 niche blogs.
Start using PPC.
Earn atleast 2000$/month from all various methods.
Get a professional blog design with mascot.
Make this blog a PR5.
Ranking among top 100 MMO blogs.

Might sound a bit hyped but yet I will strive to achieve this.
