Things to Avoid While Blogging

Blogging is a very hot trend in the world of online publishing nowadays and has spread like wildfire through the internet universe. Anyone can become an online influence with the use of blogs – from rock stars to politicians, from business leaders to average people. However, as with every form of social interaction, there are certain rules and regulations that need to be followed in the world of blogging.
One huge appeal of blogs is the ability for people to leave comments on them. Blogs that enable comments give readers the chance to reply and give their own opinions on the details mentioned in the blog by its owners. Such comments also allow an exchange of views, opinions, information, links, and completely new ideas; in turn producing a huge growth in content that has made blogging so popular for both readers and writers online.
However, these comments are also the source of most of the blogging rules today, since this is where the most controversy and the most problems will arise. Successful blogs usually branch out to become a whole community of various people in cyber space, so it is highly important for there to be proper behavior, in order for the blogging community to stay accepted and effective.
Remember these simple rules whenever you find yourself in the blogging world, so you don’t get scolded by those who operate within different sets of rules:
1. Keep Things Relevant
When posting or commenting on a blog, it is essential to stay with the topic. Posters will only end up disliking you if your comment is completely off-topic.
2. Follow What You See
Various blogs may function under completely different regulations and rules compared to what you are used to. See what others say on the regular, so that you can avoid problems and get a better feel of what is appropriate on certain blogs.
3. Stay Polite
It is completely acceptable if you disagree with what other comments say, regardless of whether a reader or the author wrote it. However, it is not acceptable to make nasty remarks or personally attack anyone in a blog that is not your own. If you really must, do so on your own turf.
Also remember that you are not superman; you cannot respond to each and every person on your blog. If a reader asks you a question, it is fine to try to reply when you can, but it is also understandable if you cannot. Everybody leads a life outside of the blog community, after all.

I have a bit different perception on your 3rd point..
At the starting days of your blog, it is important to reply to each possible comments. This will help in more participation and people will realize that the author is kind enough to look after individual question.

Hello, thanks for sharing this information..It helps me really. I usually don’t maintain and update my blogs because it’s hard to think what you will post and I know it’s really bad to copy contents from other blog. Google will surely dislike your blog. I already experience this.
