Nice motivating article. At present “Associated content” do not pay more then $500 per financial year if you do not submit “IRS W-9 tax form” to “Associated content”, Which we can’t as we are not US citizens. After going through there FAQs I realized that its not serious money making business because of following reasons:

First: You have to lie in there form that you are US citizen.

Second: Then not all articles are eligible for upfront payment… They pay you “Performance Payments” of 1.5USD per 1000 visits (After 1000 unique visits … huh?).

Third: They will not pay you more then 500USD in one financial year without US tax forms. Paypal will cut fee from this 500 and your bank will charge currency conversion charges etc.

So at the end of the day one can not make more then Rs20000 per financial year submitting articles. Not a serious money making business.
